How to Help Reduce Cellulite Every Day

The cottage cheese appearance of cellulite, which appears on the buttocks and thighs, affects many women adversely. While poor diet can be a contributor to cellulite, genetics, age and excess weight can also be factors. Cellulite can affect any woman; she does not have to be fat to have cellulite, nor does it mean she is unattractive. Still, many women view cellulite as unsightly and would rather eliminate it, or at the very least, minimize its appearance.

    Eat a proper diet. Although dieting will not erase all your cellulite, it will reduce its appearance. To keep your skin firm and lower the risk of cellulite, incorporate the appropriate minerals and vitamins into your diet. Ensure you get the following: vitamin A from milk and eggs; beta-carotene from carrots, spinach, broccoli and tomatoes; vitamin B, which promotes healthy skin from chicken, fish, bananas and cereals; vitamin C from green beans and strawberries; and vitamin E from oily fish such as salmon, trout and mackerel. Oily fish also has omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which help to lower blood pressure. Try eating leafy vegetables and olives, which contain vitamins and nutrients that protect the cells from damage and help to slow the aging process.
